Hi, I am the founder of Carmajé (carma-jay) - pure botanical skincare.   I have a passion for living as ethically and naturally as we can in this relatively un-natural and often crazy world that we live in today!  I am a passionate crusader for de-bunking  the myths and the marketing hype surrounding many of the ingredients we put into and onto our bodies!  “Knowledge is Power”  Sir Francis Bacon

The birth of my first child in 2004 catapulted Carmajé into existence when I began to look at 'skincare' products aimed at children. The more I learnt, the more I was horrified at what was being touted as 'nurturing' , 'gentle' , and my favourite 'non-irritating'.  My Gosh!   So, I began to look at many of the so-called 'natural' alternatives, and what I found was that many of the ingredients listed on them were not much better!  It was simply a clever marketing campaign. Hence – Carmajé was born.

Essentially, I am a Mum and a Person who is passionate about making the most out of what I have been given in life - with my skin, my body and my mind!   I am committed to continually educating myself, and sharing my knowledge with my friends, my clients and team (actually anyone who’ll listen!)  to inspire people to be the best they can be and make informed decisions relating to their health.
