Earth Greetings was born in 2003 out of designer Heide Hackworth’s desire to make greeting cards that not only looked gorgeous, but were also sustainably produced. After pioneering much research, Heide was shocked to discover that paper-making & printing was causing environmental destruction on a grand scale and was motivated to investigate alternatives that were less harmful to the environment.

Today many other card businesses have followed her lead and thankfully there are now more sustainable printers and papers available that are 100% post-consumer recycled (which means no trees are cut down to produce them.)

Earth Greetings continue to focus on greeting cards but have also added wrapping paper, stationery and bookmarks to the range.

Heide’s designs are inspired by the cute, clever creatures that inhabit our Australian natural environment. She plays with colour, pattern and personality to create beautiful and sustainable 100% earth friendly paper goods.
