You can choose from eleven spectacular show caves, underground concerts, challenging Adventure Caving, night tours, ghost tours, bushwalks (where you may glimpse shy native animals) plus our historic hotel and restaurant for atmosphere, charm & romance!
We are proud to maintain a mysterious, unique and fragile world! Our extensive facilities include cafe, gift shop, bar, restaurant and accommodation for all needs and budgets. With all this activity, we have always been a forerunner in 'green' practices. In 1880, we had the world's first electric cave lighting, and still lead the world in cave lighting, using minimal power and producing minimal heat, to protect the fragile cave environment. In 1889, we built Australia's first hydro-electric system - still operating! We closely monitor our water purity, because our drinking water comes from the caves.
As visitors marvel, little do they know what goes on behind the scenes to reduce Jenolan's carbon footprint and ensure that a national treasure is protected for future generations.
