Green Times articles must follow the following requirements:
• The article must be a personal piece of work, referenced wherever applicable.
• The content of the article must be well-written reflecting a professional standard, engaging, and in accordance with Green Times subjects and article categories.
• The views proposed in the article must be fair and unbiased. Links to websites as well as direct self promotion are not allowed. Names of brands or companies can be mentioned as example for supporting the story only if they are particularly relevant.
• The length of the article can vary from 300 to 700 words.
• The content of the article should stay focused on the main topic without going into unnecessary details.
• Whenever possible, images should be attached to the articles (preferred format: high resolution jpeg, pdf).
• Speeches of third persons or quotations must have sources and references clearly reported. Using either footnotes or Harvard referencing (Smith 2007, p. 1).
• All articles are reviewed, proof read and wherever necessary edited to meet Green Times standards.
• The author must disclose its identity and sign a disclaimer form for the article submitted.
