The Manly Hospital Bicycle Fleet project is establishing a bicycle fleet for staff to use to go about their usual duties where pactical eg attend meetings, instead of using a fleet car. Two electric powered bicycles have been obtained for the service.
A Workplace Travel Plan, including the Go Active 2 Work scheme, has been developed for the Northern Beaches Health Service which maps out a three year plan to influence staff travel behaviour towards a greater uptake of active transport modes.
