In many large cities on this planet you can find operators that offer helicopter rides over their city. Of course it can be nice to see the city from above, but first consider the environment.

How much greenhouse gas would be produced by a single helicopter ride? Not to mention how many animals might be disturbed by the noise?

But don’t worry. There are lots of other ways to see these cities.

For example you can rent a bicycle. Then you can easily discover all the little things that happen on the street corners – things you would miss if you buzz around too fast! If you still prefer a view from above, you can go up to one of the observation decks. With this, you still get to see the city from high up and you help save the planet from destructive carbon emissions.
