Clothing Exchange in Sydney creates a market place for you to do exactly that. And if you are not in Sydney, organize your own swapping event!

Clothing Exchange is a market place where you can swap your old clothes for new one. For each item you’ll bring to the event you’ll be able to get a new one! Clothing Exchange is a great way to give your wardrobe a second life! And help the environment as you will be saving waste going to landfill.

27 March 2010 - Earth Hour, Worldwide

 

earth_hourOn Earth Hour millions of people around the globe will come together to call for action on climate change by simply turning their lights off for 1h.

Earth Hour started in Sydney in 2007 with about 2.2 million people and 2,100 businesses involved. 2 years later, in 2009, it is estimated that over 100 million people, in over 4000 cities across 88 countries took part in Earth Hour. This ambitious initiative that started here in Australia truly became a global event.

Make sure you mark it in your diary now!

 

Whatever you will be doing on Saturday 27 March, from 8.30 to 9.30pm, the lights will be off!
