1. DEFINITION: Chemicals
Agrochemicals is a short form for agricultural chemicals which are the chemicals used in cultivating the land. It refers to pesticides, such as insecticides, herbicides, and fungicides as well as synthetic fertilisers. Most countries have controlled using agrochemicals because these are toxic and threaten our health.
Organic farming is strongly recommended instead of using chemicals. Organic farming is a type of agriculture that works in harmony with nature such as green Compost and biological pest control (using natural enemy) to maintain soil productivity and control pests on a farm without using chemicals.
